Obtain faster analysis, while maintaining resolution, using TSKgel SuperHZ over conventional HXL columns

The TSKgel SuperHZ columns used in this Figure contain 3 micron particles, while G2500HXL is packed with 5 micron particles, and the G3000HXL and G4000HXL columns are filled with 6 micron particles.
As expected, the smaller SuperHZ particles can provide higher efficiency to obtain a faster analysis time, but this is sacrificed by using a shorter column length. Since the bead chemistry for both product lines is the same, the sample is equally well resolved on both column types.
The analysis time is about 15 minutes on TSKgel SuperHZ columns and double that on HXL columns.
Note that most GPC systems require a reduction of extra-column bandbroadening effects to take full advantage of the high throughput offered by TSKgel SuperHZ (and SuperH) columns. For a system that has been optimized for these and other GPC columns, we recommend the use of the EcoSEC HLC-8320GPC GPC system.
